London teen, Griff offers a fresh blend of melody and lyricism. Teaching herself music production on her brother’s computer, Griff plays a big part in writing and producing her own music. Her anthemic single “Mirror Talk” was written in roughly an hour as she set out to explore the relationship between oneself and their inner-critic.
Griff addresses the dichotomy of our relationship with ourselves, “break up with myself and then make up with myself all over again,” followed by the fighter in her saying, “come on, girl. Oh, get it together… Enough of this mirror talk.” The song sets out to normalize the struggle of inner conflict by addressing it as the music video depicts Griff trapped by the constructs of her mind.
Next month, Griff will be performing in both New York, LA and Ireland.
